February Prayers for KCW

AV / Streaming Team:

Praise God: Because of live stream, people have joined our services who would not have come to KCW due to geography, illness, or other personal circumstances.

Give thanks: God is using live streams to reach not just our church body but also visitors. Pray for opportunities to keep inviting more people.

Give thanks: God has carried us through and helped us to sort out numerous technical difficulties.

Pray for: willing hands and opportunities to train a broader team.

Health & Safety / Stewarding:

Praise God: he has kept us safe and free of any Covid outbreak at church.

Pray for wisdom to distinguish between law and hearsay so we can keep abreast of what’s required and what we can do in church.

Pray for: willing hands to help with stewarding so we can spread the burden.

Music Team:

By God's grace, it's going well - learning how to serve the congregation in new ways... but it's tough!  

Give thanks for God’s provision of musicians who are able to serve the Church. Pray they would not rely on their own skills but seek to glorify God in all they do.

Give thanks for God’s strength in helping the musicians to persevere. Pray they would not give up or feel it all too much, but would trust Him in these challenging times.

Give thanks for God’s goodness. Pray they would remember that God will supply all their needs.

Preaching:

Pray for the preachers trying to prepare and teach material for all ages and speak to a live and online audience - pray for real wisdom and help from God.

Fresh Fruit & Veg Market Stall:

Pray for the pilot fresh fruit & veg market stall in half term – an opportunity to support some of the most needy during school holidays when their children aren’t provided with school meals.  Pray that the message about the food stall would get through to the right people.  Pray for good weather, that those in need would turn up and be blessed by receiving their fresh food bag.  Pray for relationship building opportunities with local families, and that through the food stall God’s love and generosity would be shown.

Easter Events:

Pray we would have many opportunities to communicate the hope and joy of Jesus’ resurrection to our friends and family.

Pray we would be creative and wise in deciding what events to run.

Pray we would have great confidence in Jesus’ death and resurrection.
