A network of churches
King’s Church was planted from Dundonald Church Wimbledon in 2012. We began with 25 adults and a dozen or so children meeting at Danesfield Manor School. By the grace and power of God we have been sustained and grown.
We are an elder led, independent church with a reformed evangelical heart. This means we believe the Bible to be God’s living and active word which when taught faithfully and empowered by God’s spirit brings life and ongoing heart change through repentance and faith.
King’s Church operates as part of The Co-Mission Churches Trust, registered charity 1139922. We are also part of the Co-Mission church planting network, which is an enterprising network of varied churches, both independent and Anglican, seeking to reach London for Christ through church planting.
Joining King’s Church
If you are interested in joining our fellowship, we run a short course called ‘ACTS2’ to help newcomers get to grips with our heart, mission, vision, and values. The course runs across three mid-week evenings (or mornings) and gives you a chance to make an informed decision about committing to our fellowship.

Simon Martin is the Senior Pastor of King’s Church Walton having graduated from Oak Hill Theological College in 2012. Prior to his time at college he worked first as an apprentice at Dundonald Church Wimbledon and then as their youth worker. Simon is married to Nicola and they have four boys
Pete Matthew is our Pastor for Family Life at King’s Church Walton. Pete became a Christian at Dundonald Church, where he later was an apprentice. After graduating from Oak Hill Theological College he has worked for churches in Balham, Woking, and Windsor. Pete is married to Nicki and they have twin children, Henry and Helena.
Chris Gunter is the senior elder at King’s Church Walton and also oversees the music ministry. He is married to Karen and they have three children.
Jürgen Wellinger also serves as an elder at King’s Church Walton. Jürgen is involved in leading a home group and is also part of the music team. He is married to Laurelle and together they have been a part of the Co-Mission network of churches since moving to the UK in 2003. They have two children, Matthew and Rachel.

Rich Allan serves as an Elder. He is active in leading a home group and drumming with the music team. He is married to Naseem and they have 2 sons, Jack and Theo.
